Balochistan: Twelve abducted including a teenager by Pakistan military, one released

According to reports, on 18 June 2017, Pakistani security forces attacked Kuch area of Pirandar district Awaran, Balochistan.

During the assault, Zahid Hammal and Abdullah Omer were abducted, while Abdullah’s brother Ramzan was critically injured after being severely beaten up by security forces

On the same day, Pakistani security forces abducted Zakir Hakim from Nali area of Balgatar district Kech, Balochistan.

Amin Ismail

On 17 June 2017, Pakistani security forces abducted 15 years old Amin Ismail from Syad Isa Ziarath, Kahn Zilag district Awaran, Balochistan. Amin’s father, Ismail was also abducted a week ago and was released after severe torture.

On 16 June 2017, early morning security forces attacked Gichk area of district Panjgur, Balochistan and abducted Ghulam Jan Jamal, Khalil Ghulam Jan, Awaz Khuda Bakhsh residents of Jori, Gichk and Hayat Hammal resident of Salari, Gichk district Panjgur, Balochistan.

From Bazdad Ju area of district Awaran, Balochistan, security forces abducted Zabad Washdil.

On 15 June 2017, Pakistani security forces surrounded and started a search operation in Panodi, Kohak and Piran Basth area of Dasht district Kech, Balochistan. During the house to house search, security forces looted all the valuables of the locals, according to local sources. Jabbar Dr. Mohammad and Sabzal Dost Mohammad were abducted in this operation.

On 02 May 2017, Pakistani security forces attacked farmlands in Phullabad, Neheng river and Kasano areas of Tump, district Kech, Balochistan and Attaullah, a farmer, was abducted from Phullabad district Kech, Balochistan.

All the abductees have been shifted to unknown location and their whereabouts are still unknown to their families.

A footballer, Shabir Mulla Ghulam Hussain has been released from the camp of Frontier Corps in Soro, Mand, district Kech, Balochistan. He was abducted by security forces during a military operation in Koh-Posht, Mand district Kech, Balochistan on 02 May 2017.
