Balochistan: Six abducted including two brothers and Mother with Baby

27 years old Under-graduate, Mirjan Kamal was identified among almost a dozen civilians believed to be abducted by security forces from Dázen village of Tump.

According to reports, security forces conducted a house-to-house search in the village on March 30, 2017.

In a same kind of a military operation, security forces forcefully disappeared Saleh Mohammad’s two sons, Wahab and Shamim from Bullow Talamb, Mand, district Kech.

Both the villages are almost 70 to 90 KM away from Turbat town, the administrative capital of Mekran region, which holds Gwadar, the coastal belt which is zero point of China Pakistan Economic Corridor, a road which links China to Arabian sea via Baloch sea.

Same kind of a military operation reported from Dera Bugti and Sui regions of Balochistan on March 31, 2017. The effected villages in the region reported are Shari Darbar, Matt, Rustum Darbar, Dilbar Matt, Sonari Matt, Sohre Poshtag and Gandhoi of Sui, district Dera Bugti.

Family of Gul Mohammad is reportedly abducted by security forces. His wife, Gul Bibi and Zeba, their one year old Baby daughter were taken into a military camp after the operation.

Sui and Dera Bugti contain natural gas, from which almost 80% of the gas requirement of Pakistan is fulfilled, but excluded the village from where it is being piped to Punjab and other parts of Pakistan and local population has a conflict with Islamabad’s central government.
