Balochistan: military abducted sixteen people

Pakistani forces conducted military operations and raided several villages in Balochistan, in which 15 people were abducted, according to reports.

On 19 December 2017, from Khandari area of Mashkay district Awaran, security forces abducted Waheed Ali Mohammad, Saleem Hakeem, Hayat Dadil and Mohammad Murad Hakeem.

On the same day, forces surrounded Maheer area of Mand district Kech, Balochistan and started a search operation, in which Muslim Saleem and Sudeer Ayoub were abducted.

Sajid s/o Dost Mohammad

On 18th December 2017, security forces surrounded the house of Dost Mohammad in Koshk area of Buleda district Kech, Balochistan and abducted Dost Mohammad’s son Sajid from his house.

On 17th December 2017, forces and armed militants known as death squad by the locals, raided a house in Dabuk area in district Kech, Balochistan, Jamil Barkat and Suweth Mohammad Hassan were abducted.

A military operation conducted in Shay Sichi and Jattani bazar areas of Dasht district Kech, Balochistan on 16th December 2017. During the operation, from Shay Sichi area, forces abducted Ijaz Ghulam Habib. From Jattani bazar of Dasht district Kech, Bahram Nabi Bakhsh, Waheed Ghulam, Bilal Ghafor, Akram Umetan and Aman Rasheed were abducted.

On the same day, Ismail Malik Dad, resident of Pullabad, Tump district Kech, Balochistan was abducted by forces from Tump district Kech, Balochistan.

During the militray operations, women and children were severely beaten up and all the expensive valuables of the locals have also been looted, according to reports from Balochistan.

The abductees have been shifted to unknown locations and their whereabouts still remain unknown to their families.
