Balochistan: 3 abducted, many houses burned

According to reports, on 05 July 2017, Pakistani security forces with twenty military vehicles conducted a military operation in Sholig and Hoor areas of Dasht district Kech, Balochistan.

From Sholig area of Dasht district Kech, Balochistan, security forces abducted three civilians, identified as, 24 years old Shopkeeper Arif Dad Mohammad, resident of Sholig, Dasht district Kech, Balochistan, Yasir Abdullah, a 20 years old Shopkeeper, resident of Sholig, Dasht district Kech, Balochistan and 19 years old Faroq Khalid, resident of Sholig, Dasht district Kech, Balochistan.

During the operation, security forces looted all the valuables of the local residents and tortured women and children. All the male populace of the areas were gathered in one place and were subjected to severe torture. Many houses have also been burnt down to ashes. Be noted that the Sholig and Hoor areas of Dasht, district Kech, Balochistan are rural areas with mud houses and are neither facilitated with Electricity nor clean drinking water. After burning of the houses, the local populace has been left without shelter and are feared to face malnutrition.


All the abductees have been shifted to unknown and their whereabouts are still unknown to their families.
