Balochistan: 17 abducted and 4 released by military

According to reports, on 13 August 2017, Pakistani security forces abducted two brothers, Musa Omith, a poet and his brother Zaheer Omith from Pasni, district Gwadar, Balochistan.

On the same day, from Kapkapar area of Dasht, Security forces abducted Rashid Khuda Bakhsh resident of Kapkapar, Dasht district Kech Balochistan.

Separately, from Turbat Bazar, Pakistan intelligence agency abducted Amjid Dad Karim resident of Tilkan, Tump district Kech, Balochistan.

On 12 August 2017, Pakistani security forces started a military operation in Kaleero Damb area of Dasht district Kech, Balochistan.

During the operation, security forces abducted, 80 years old Moldad and after several hours of torture he was released in a critical condition.

Mohammad Ameen, a patient, suffering from kidney problems, was abducted from Jan Mohammad Bazar of Dasht, district Kech, Balochistan on 12 August 2017. He was on prescribed medication when abducted.

On 11 August 2017, security forces conducted a military operation in Shay Sichi area of Dasht district Kech, Balochistan and abducted six civilians including father and a son, identified as, Amjid Noor Bakhsh, Sabi Murad Bakhsh, Abdul Qadir Pir Mohammad, Nasir Jalal Khan, Ali Mohammad Hassan and his son Adnan, residents of Shay Sichi area of Dasht district Kech, Balochistan.

Later, Amjid Noor Bakhsh was released but the others are still missing.

On the same day, security forces abducted Rafiq Sayed Mohammad from Shahrak district Kech, Balochistan.

Separately, from district Kech, security forces abducted Mirjan Ibrahim, resident of Singani Sar area of Turbat district Kech, Balochistan and after severe torture, he was released on 13 August 2017.

From Aapsar Balochi Bazar, district Kech, forces abducted two brothers, Zafar and Riaz Razai, residents of Balochi Bazar, Aapsar district Kech Balochistan.

Security forces raided a house in Kalaar area of Mashkey district Awaran, Balochistan and abducted Bilal Abdul Samad.

Women and children have been beaten up and valuables have been looted during the military operations.

The abductees have been shifted to unknown location and their whereabouts remain unknown to their families.

Previously abducted on 09 August 2017, Anis Bashir resident of Balicha, Tump district Kech, Balochistan has been released on 11 August 2017.
