The Human Rights Council of Balochistan is a nonpartisan, nonprofit organization based in Sweden, France and the United Kingdom, which works to shed light on the tragic human rights situation in Balochistan.

For decades, Balochistan region in Pakistan has been marred by violence, a situation which further deteriorated after the military’s coup d’état in 1999, after which state forces and separatist activists started attacking each other and religious fundamentalists targeted minorities and Baloch secular forces in particular. Human rights groups and media outlets are not allowed to visit Balochistan. As the region is not accessible, there are thus barely any reports about the human rights situation on the ground.

Human Rights Council of Balochistan keeps a close eye on Human Rights Situation and reports the violations without any discrimination.
